DOG BREATH

BAD BREATH

USUALLY WHEN OUR DOGS HAVE BAD BREATH, THE MOST COMMON REASON IS A DENTAL ISSUE. YOUR DOG MAY HAVE TARTAR ON THE TEETH, OR GUM DISEASE FROM LACK OF ORAL CARE.

NOT ALL BAD BREATH IS FROM YOUR DOGS MOUTH. IF THE DOG’S STOMACH IS UPSET OR YOUR DOG HAS BEEN VOMITING OR HAS DIARRHEA A GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT UPSET IS ANOTHER COMMON REASON FOR YOUR DOG’S BREATH TO SMELL BADLY.

IF YOUR DOG HAS A LIVER CONDITION, THE BREATH WILL ALSO HAVE AN UNPLEASANT ODOUR.

IF YOUR DOG’S BREATH SMELL LIKE URINE, IT MAY BE AN INDICATOR OF KIDNEY PROBLEMS.

IF YOUR DOG’S BREATH HAS A FRUITY SMELL THIS MAYBE AN INDICATOR OF DIABETES

HALITOSIS IS AN RED FLAG, THAT YOU SHOULD BE TAKING A CLOSER LOOK AT YOUR DOG AND INVESTIGATING WHY HE HAS BAD BREATH.

YOUR DOG’S VET CAN HELP YOU WITH THE DIAGNOSIS.
